News stories frequently include spectacular car crashes. Many recent news stories, however, have given information that can actually keep you safe on the road, provided you follow it. News stories regarding distracted driving have been in the media a lot lately. Distracted driving, in a way, has become the latest thing that the media is trying to raise awareness of. This is not sensationalism. National traffic authorities have reported hundreds of thousands of injuries due to distracted driving and thousands of people are killed every year because of it. Pay attention when you’re driving. The only thing you have to worry about is the road.
Even if you are making every effort to drive safely, you may run into the occasional driver who ends up causing a significant hazard. These drivers sometimes do not pay attention, sometimes they happen to be on one of the fastest roads in Dallas and are still trying to drive faster than everyone else and, sometimes, they’re intoxicated.
