Irving DWI No-Refusal Operation

The police force in Irving will be out in force this weekend in the first no-refusal operation. According to dallasnews.com, “When a person is arrested for DWI, they will be offered a blood test (no breath test will be offered). If anyone refuses to provide a blood sample, a judge will be present to authorize a warrant for a blood draw. ”

This is part of a state wide effort by law enforcement to keep people safe on our roads.
