According to MyFoxDFW.com, two people were sent to the hospital after their vehicle slammed into a hotel in DeSoto. The report claims that, after two vehicles got involved in a crash on I 35 E, one of the vehicles crashed into the Hampton Inn and Suites.
Fortunately, none of the people inside the hotel were hurt in the incident. Two witnesses that reporters spoke to described seeing dust and debris on the road and then seeing one of the cars go airborne, actually flying over an embankment. One of the workers acted quickly and used a fire extinguisher to put out a fire caused by the vehicle. Continue reading

WHIO TV reports that two people were injured in a car crash that has a lot in common with many rear end car collisions. This incident, which occurred in Riverside, Iowa involved a sports car and another vehicle that rear-ended the sports car.
The incident occurred when the vehicle that struck the sports car from behind failed to maintain a clear distance from the vehicle in front of it. Of all of the reasons that people end up in rear end collisions, this is the most common. A man from Kilgore has filed a lawsuit alleging that a driver who attended to make a pass in a no passing zone caused an accident in which he was injured. According to the Southeast Texas Record, the lawsuit alleges that the man, who was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the time of the crash, was traveling in the same direction as a woman driving a Toyota car. The SE Texas Record reports that a woman has filed a lawsuit alleging that she suffered injuries, including a premature birth, after being involved in a car collision. According to the report, the woman was in a parking lot at a discount store standing next to a shopping cart.
